Valley Aviation offers two exciting World War II era aircraft for both scenic rides and instruction. First, we operate a Stearman PT-17, fully restored to its original factory 1934 markings. This aircraft was used as a primary trainer to prepare pilots for more advanced fighter aircraft of the era. This aircraft has an open cockpit to give you a truly “wind in your hair” experience. Fly low and slow over the Valley and, if you dare, experience loops and rolls higher and faster than any roller coaster experience.  Want the “fighter pilot” experience? Then let us strap you into our SNJ, the Navy version of the North American T-6 advanced trainer. Close the canopy and imagine yourself as a World War II fighter pilot as your pilot raises the landing gear after takeoff. This aircraft was used for air-to-air and air-to-ground combat and has a cruising speed of 140 MPH, so prepare yourself for a combat flight experience.
